In my spare time, I study and practice illustrating animals. I often use pen and ink on top of watercolor, and then finish the illustration in Photoshop. I’m striving for Salvador Dali-esque surrealism, and William Morris inspired me to create repeat patterns.  I recently took a graphic novel course at Emily Carr University and have since been illustrating in the comic strip format, you can find the ‘Adventures With Grandma’ comic below.
